 It's Monday🫣

 ...And we are opening our eyes🤗 to a new work week, and of family with various needs. Bless God! Look around to all the wonder and blessings we DO have. Whether they are of health, food, a good job, or those you share your life with.


 Yes, it's Monday, a lot of how we view this day will have to do with our perspectives. 


Life is good for many, but maybe your life today is not "good." Sickness is going around, the pressures are on for you to bring "Christmas"all together, and there is a huge list of things still not done. Take heart! Life in general can be hard to manage, especially during the holidays when everything is suppose to be PERFECT. 

   We live in a fallen world. Life is NOT perfect, but we don't have to succumb to feelings of despair. Even though some are battling sickness, financial issues, loss, fatigue, or whatever, (you fill in the blank_____.) 

    Isn't it comforting to know that whatever challenge, or battle we face we do not face challenges or battles alone?

 

God is the Promise Keeper... 

He is our refuge and strength! He will see us through and we as believers are never alone in this life or this "season" of it.


I am hoping that during these very busy days you will stop, have that coffee/tea and read Gods precious promises, and pray.....being still. 

   While presenting yourself to God, and praising His Majesty, and goodness in the abilities that He has ALREADY given to you, and then bring all your concerns to Him.

 ALL of them.

And experience His presence and understanding and Love. 


I believe giving God that time, (be it 10 minutes or longer), will make all the difference in your day! Your day still will face issues, but you will have a better grasp on the fact that you ARE in His sight and not alone.   


We are reminded of Gods presence and help in his Word:


" for he himself has said, I will never leave you or abandon you." 

Heb.13.5b CSB


 For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.’

Deut.20:4. .CSB

 Recently, our Golden Retriever, Angel,hurt herself. Somehow, she ended up with a puncture on her neck. I noticed it because she was scratching her neck and there was blood on the floor.    I investigated and found a wound. "What happened girl that you have this hole here?" and looking at it closer, I said to her "you cannot be scratching this, or it will get infected." It was already looking pretty nasty. She had a compulsion to keep scratching so I decided that a trip to the farm store was in order. Thankfully they had exactly what I had in mind. There, hanging on the wall was a large assortment of cone shaped covers that could be fitted around her neck. Soveriegn Citizens

 One day my husband and I were watching youtube. We do that every now and then to see news, or comedy or instructions on fixing something.  Anyway, when we did that, an array of suggestions came up. This time a sovereign citizen video came up. We wondered "what is that about?" and clicked on the video. In the video, it started out with a police officer walking up to a car that he had pulled over for a traffic violation. The driver rolled down the window and ask the officer, "Why did you stop me??"  The officer replied," you were speeding, going 50 and 35  mile per hour zone."  Then the the officer added, " I need to see your driver's license and proof of insurance please." Driver: " I don't have  to show you anything; I don't have a driver license or insurance but I don't need either one." Police officer:" Yes, you do ma'am.You need to show me your driver's license and proof insurance. It's the law....

The BEST Part of Waking Up is.....

 The first thing I do after waking up and brushing my teeth is trudge to the kitchen and start filling the coffeepot with water and putting coffee in the basket to brew.  After a couple of minutes I fill my cup. For some reason my coffee is never hot enough, it looks right, but as I touch it to my lips, nope...  it has the mere essence of coffee, but is not anything I would drink or offer to anyone else in that blah state. So I nuke it in the microwave for 60 seconds and voila, it is heated to that perfect temperature that smells and awakens all my senses.   Lukewarm coffee is not my cup of tea. and I would venture to say, that this is most everyone elses feeling about it too. This morning I read in Revelations 3:15-20. It is the last book in the Bible written by John. It talked about how God feels about us as believers and being "not hot or cold" but lukewarm.
